Bigfoot Photos and Videos
Here you will find images of things that are — or could be — the cryptid ape-like creature: Bigfoot.
This page is a work in progress because I do not know which of these images are authentic and which are not. The photos and videos below are photos and videos that look worth investigating more. I will share what I find on this page, so it can become a home base for reliable bigfoot image info.

Evaluating Images
I STRONGLY recommend reading this: "Evaluating Purported Sasquatch Photographic Evidence" By Alton Higgins.
The article presents a simple set of criteria that will enable those in the bigfoot research community to employ common sense strategies for objectively analyzing, rather than subjectively debating, the merits of photographs containing purported sasquatch images.

THE FENCE CLIMBER
This footage was captured early in the morning. The land owner knew the creatures routinely entered onto his property, and so he set up cameras in various places to ‘catch’ them.
I thought this was laughable the first time I saw it. Then I saw the size comparison. This video likely shows an actual bigfoot.
If it is not a bigfoot, then it is an oddly proportioned human capable of stepping over a 4' fence with perfect economy of movement despite wearing a bulky-shouldered, pointy-headed costume. |
MK Davis has reviewed the videos and shares the highlights and his analysis on YouTube.

FENCE CLIMBER | UPDATE | 03.04.2018
This video is one of a cluster of videos generally thought to be hoaxes. Check out this article on Bigfoot Crossroads for an overview. Pictures and videos provided by hoaxers — no matter how compelling —must be considered entertainment, not evidence.

"The vast majority of individuals who have seen these clips agree that they are hoaxed. While an extremely small number of the clips MIGHT be genuine, the rest of the clips are obviously fake, which in my opinion makes all of them worthless."

The Beast of Seven Chutes
This photo (A) has become the standard example of a Type 3 bigfoot. My first impression was that it was likely a creature. I wanted to create an illustration of it's face for my own reference. I enjoy doing that [link]. When I took a closer look at what appears to be the face, that's when I began to question whether the photo was a real animal at all. I do not, even now, think it was a hoax.
Image Background Info: In June of 1995 a man sightseeing in Quebec snapped 76 photos and made 4 videos of an area known as Parc des 7 Chutes, or Seven Chutes Park, near Saint-Georges de Beauce, Quebec. As he browsed through the pictures, something odd caught his eye in photo number 32. There appeared to be something strange standing amid the trees. The person who took the picture went back later to take a second picture for comparison. In the comparison photo (B), there are leaves on the trees. It seems to me that the leaves in picture B are hiding the rocks/ground mistaken for the beast in picture A. |
Once I compared photos A and B, I saw that if this is the Beast of Seven Chutes, Then the beast of seven chutes is noticeably smaller than a man. This is not evidence that the Beast of Seven Chutes does not exist. It is just a strong indication that this is not a photo of the Beast of Seven Chutes.
The animation above shows the comparison photo (B) laid over the original photo (A.) Note the visual markers used to ensure the scale of both photos is the same. I have seen other comparisons where photo B was taken from a further distance than photo A. That will result in the subject of photo B appearing to be smaller than in reality.
The animation above shows the original face and a version that I created to try and "unwarp" it. This made me think that it wasn't the face of a beast, but an illusion created by light and shadow. Pareidolia [examples]
|
The head and body are facing to the left, but the "muzzle is bending weirdly to the right, and out of sync with the eyes. The entire face section is too low and off-center.
|
I found some other pictures of the surrounding area. The rocks are similar in color to the beast. This is not really an argument against it being a real beast, just something to consider.
